I went on a Haggadah tour on campus at the University of Florida in the Judaica library that is within the Smathers library also known as library east. The tour was very interesting and we saw old, new, and intricate variations of a Haggadah. Pesach is right around the corner so this tour was really fun and I learned a lot about the history of the book. Some of the books even had old wine stains in them, some were beautiful hand written and with other art mediums incorporated to create an amazing artistic Haggadah.

Spring Shabbos
These photos are from a shabbat I had at my Rabbi’s house. It is very hot and humid in Florida (like always) and again because it is technically spring I chose to go all out with a spring look which is kind of hard when your closet consists of mostly navy blue, black and grey items. I managed and I think it worked out, I even made a makeshift flower crown thing with a headband. Skirt from forever21.com top: Thrifted

Production-Student Style
Had fun (amongst the stress) filming for a few classes. Check out this unique style from this day, I was very busy so sometimes my outfits aren't the most "fashionable" but I was warm, comfortable, and MODEST! I still kinda dig it though. I really enjoy my thrifted orange jacket with the velcro strap sandals from target.com

Spring
Happy spring! Look at these flowers! With this outfit I pulled the black in the skirt together with a thin black belt, shoes and black purse. Then with a pop of blue to match the bright flowers we see in spring. Skirt from forever21.com

The Power of Modesty
I enjoyed this blog post from Jew in the City so much and I identify with it strongly. I had such a similar experience, I was the girl wearing bikinis and short shorts because I could pull it off and I thought it made me feel good but just like Jew in the City I also felt violated when someone would check me out or say something without any desire to know me as a person. This is a great read.
